JONATHAN STADLEN
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Jonathan was born in London to Austrian and New Zealand parents, and went to a Rudolf Steiner school where he was banned from watching TV until the age of 12. After this the only TV he was allowed to watch was the Nine O’Clock News and Dynasty, so his principal male role models were Michael Buerk and Blake Carrington. Jonathan studied Drama and Film at Bristol University, before pursuing a career in television, much to the consternation of his parents.
Focusing initially on TV development, Jonathan worked at some of the UK’s leading production companies including Endemol, the BBC, 19 Entertainment, RDF Media and Pulse Films, where he was the creator and Executive Producer of Pineapple Dance Studios.

Jonathan won Edinburgh Does Lip Sync Battle, and despite being a good cook, came last in Edinburgh does Come Dine With Me. He likes sailing, skiing, cheese straws and show ponies.
